Larry joined Alta Partners as Controller in 2007 and was promoted to CFO in September 2013. As Alta’s CFO, Larry’s areas of responsibility include accounting, tax, financial reporting, cash and securities management, legal and human resources, and other administrative functions at the firm. Prior to joining Alta, he was the manager of statutory reporting at The Gap, Inc., where he managed the audited financial reporting process for several legal entities and provided support to tax and treasury for all legal entities. Previously, Larry was the manager of treasury accounting at Intel Corporation, where his responsibilities included reviewing Intel Capital investments for proper accounting treatment, assisting the team in deal negotiation, and performing the accounting for the Intel Capital investment team. Larry is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Santa Clara University.
