Wade A. Kit, a Mexican national, has worked in Corporate Banking in Mexico since 2001. He joined Alta Growth Capital as a Managing Director in 2021. He has over 20 years’ experience in the origination, structuring and distribution of debt products for Mexican clients. Prior to joining Alta Growth Capital, he was the Head of Loan Syndication and Acquisition Finance at Banco Santander Mexico (2006 to 2021). At Santander, Wade and his team originated facilities for mid cap commercial banking clients in the retail, dining and fast food, manufacturing, financial service, consumer goods and agricultural sectors throughout Mexico. Overall, he and his team worked with between 125 to 150 clients annually, closing in excess of 350 transactions, underwriting facilities for greater than US$20bn and consistently placing the bank and the LSAF product team among the top 3 Financial Institutions in annual Mexico League Tables. Prior to Santander, Wade occupied various positions in Corporate Banking at Scotiabank Mexico (2000 to 2006), the last of which was as Head of the Loan Syndications team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree in History from the University of Saskatchewan, a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) In History (Specialization Latin America) from Tulane University and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Ontario. He speaks English and Spanish.
