Bio

Tim has been at Alta or its predecessor firms since 1989 having joined the firm from the Bank of Boston. His undergraduate liberal arts training at Wesleyan University prepared him well for the long-winded answers required of typical private equity professionals. In his nearly thirty years in the business, Tim has found numerous ways to lose money but only one way to make money and that is to back strong management teams at reasonable prices.
