Mr. Egan is a Founding Partner of Alston Capital and has over 20 years of successful private equity investing experience. Prior to founding Alston Capital, Mr. Egan was a Founder and Managing Partner of Environmental Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invests in companies whose products and services address critical environmental issues. Mr. Egan is an early and recognized investor in this sector having left JPMorgan Partners in 2006 to focus solely on investing in lower middle-market companies that require capital and expertise to meet the increasing demand for environmental products and services. Previously, Mr. Egan was a Senior Advisor and Partner at JPMorgan Partners and its affiliates focused on maximizing value through business model and leadership changes and creating exit opportunities in a portfolio of challenged investments. Prior to this role, Mr. Egan was a Founding Partner of a JPMorgan Partners predecessor Chase Capital, and a senior executive of Chase's Merchant Banking Group, focused on investing in middle-market growth and buyout transactions. Mr. Egan served as Chairman of Intechra Group LLC, prior to its sale to Arrow Electronics (NYSE "ARW") and is currently a director of Cascade Drilling LLC. Mr. Egan has served as a Director of numerous companies over the past two decades. Mr. Egan received an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Boston University.
