Richard Georgi is the Co-Founder and the Managing Partner of Grove International Partners, and currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Georgi is responsible for leading Grove’s investment initiatives and determining the strategic direction of the firm. Mr. Georgi has invested in real estate private equity internationally for over 20 years. Upon founding Soros Real Estate in April 1999, Mr. Georgi became responsible for Soros’s worldwide real estate related investments. He subsequently spun this out to become Grove International Partners. Prior to his career at Soros, Mr. Georgi was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was in charge of the European investment activities of the Whitehall Street Real Estate Funds and served as a member of the Whitehall Investment Committee. Mr. Georgi received a master’s with distinction in Business Administration, from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Political Economics, cum laude, from Williams College. Mr. Georgi is actively engaged in Harvard’s Real Estate Academic Initiative and the Williams College endowment.
