Desmond McGowan is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Alpine Grove Partners. Mr. McGowan has over 35 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Alpine Grove Partners in 2020, Mr. McGowan was a consultant to GFM and Alpine Grove Partners as well as other real estate private equity firms. Previously, he served as the CFO of True North Management Group. His prior experiences include CFO, COO and CCO roles within the real estate groups of US and European owned investment banks. His experience includes building a full-service investment bank in South Korea, as well as building loan servicing operating companies in Mexico, the U.S., Japan and South Korea. Mr. McGowan received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and American Studies from Yale College. He is CFA Charterholder, has received the CIPM designation, and is a New York State real estate broker.
