Thiago Aguiar joined Alothon in 2017. Prior to Alothon, he founded Southport Advisors, a Brazilian boutique specialized in M&A, and capital raising. Between 2007 and 2015 he worked in various positions of Patria Investimentos Portfolio Companies, including Zatix Tecnologia where he served in various capacities including: CFO, business development director and COO. Prior to Zatix, Mr. Aguiar was the strategic planning manager for Fotoptica. His professional experience also includes executive positions with Swiss Capital Asset Management and British Gas Group. Mr. Aguiar holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo.
