Bio

Philip leads the Allstate Investments team responsible for the day-to-day management of the portfolios and external manager research. The group also works with the Risk and Return team and others across Allstate Investments on asset allocation investment decisions. Prior to joining us in 2020, Philip was a managing director at UBS Asset Management. His role there was as head of portfolio management for the Investment Solutions team. He headed up a global team of multi-asset portfolio managers and was responsible for over $130 billion in assets under management. Before UBS, Philip was a senior multi-asset portfolio manager at Blackrock, where he was responsible for global tactical asset allocation mandates. Philip earned a MSc in financial engineering from Birkbeck, University of London, and his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
