Phil oversees Allstate’s Opportunistic Investment portfolio strategy, which focuses on deploying flexible and nimble capital across asset classes and capital structures. Prior to joining Allstate in 2016, Phil was Managing Director at AEG Partners where he provided restructuring advisory and turnaround management services. Prior to that, he managed special situation/alternative investing portfolios at Bank of America, Ernst & Young and Macquarie Bank. Phil holds both an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and has served on numerous corporate boards and operating committees.
