Bio

Mike manages Allstate's portfolio of corporate and infrastructure private equity investments including funds, co-investments, and other direct investments. He is responsible for overall portfolio management and strategy as well as leadership of Chicago and London-based investment teams. Mike and his team originate, execute, and manage investment opportunities consistent with Allstate’s risk profile and long-term investment horizon. He joined Allstate in 2015 with significant prior experience as a direct private equity investor and has played an important role in building-out Allstate’s direct investing capabilities. Mike began his career in investment banking as an analyst for Salomon Smith Barney, and subsequently worked at CIVC Partners and Pritzker Group Private Capital. He serves on numerous fund advisory boards and as a director of many private companies. Mike earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
