Gerald Smith is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring AIP’s investments. He has over 10 years’ experience with operations, financial modeling, and due diligence for large private equity transactions. Gerald served as an operating partner for AIP since 2019 and assisted with the CES Power investment. Prior to joining AIP full-time in 2023, Gerald supported Enerflex’s Corporate Development team by evaluating M&A opportunities and led business development efforts for Enerflex’s Energy Transition team. Former associate with GE Capital where he saw over $4 billion in deal flow and consummated $1.4 billion of transactions.
