Andrew has managed a number of private equity investments through the cycle from initiation to exit and has served on a number of Boards – including Europa Support Services, where he met and worked closely with Billy, Greig and Andy. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant in 1997 and spent his early career working in professional services firms including Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young advising multiple stakeholders to businesses, before moving in to an investment role in private equity. He joined H.I.G. Capital in 2007 as the US private equity firm established itself in Europe, investing in LBOs, turnaround and debt securities. After the successful exit of Europa to Bilfinger Berger, he left H.I.G. joining Brookfield Asset Management before setting up Aliter with the three other founding partners.
