Bio

Tone Pekolj is a Partner and Managing Director. Prior to joining ALFI PE he spent five years as a partner at KF Finance d.o.o. where he was responsible for M&A and companies\' restructuring. He led numerus projects in the field of due-diligence, valuation, pre and post merger strategies, feasibility studies, etc. Prior to joining KF Finance, Mr. Pekolj worked for seven years (2008 – 2014) at Abanka Vipa d.d. as Head of corporate finance and as Director of Investment banking responsible for brokerage, pension fund, analytics, corporate finance and M&A. Mr. Pekolj has ensured the efficacy of many projects and in many occasions, he proved capable to be a team leader, which is the most important reason he was assigned to lead or co-lead many strategic projects of the bank. Prior to that he was a Treasury manager in Generali Insurance company responsible for asset management of life, nonlife portfolio and pension fund Leon2. Mr. Pekolj holds an Masters degree from Faculty of Economics, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2005) and Bachelor of Science from Faculty of Economics, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2002). He is an author of several articles about M&A and PE.
