Bio

Suzanne Akers joined AIMCo in April 2022 and oversees the Investment Risk and Enterprise Risk functions. She also serves as Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining AIMCo, Ms. Akers most recently served as Co-Head of Franklin Templeton's Investment Risk Management Group, responsible for FT Equity, Balanced, and Fixed Income strategies globally. Ms. Akers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, and an MBA from Stanford University where she was an Arjay Miller scholar. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
