Prior to founding Aiglon Capital, Richard was an Operating Partner at Pritzker Group Private Capital, the middle-market private equity investment firm created by Tony and J.B. Pritzker. At Pritzker, Richard led the firm’s operational activities in the Manufactured Products sector. He was responsible for leading acquisitions, business integrations, and driving strategic and operating performance improvement. During his ten years at the Pritzker Group, Richard was involved in numerous transactions including growth equity investments, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, and financings. Before joining the Pritzker Group, Richard was a Senior Principal at The Keystone Group, a management consulting firm specializing in operational turnaround work for underperforming middle-market manufacturing and distribution businesses. At Keystone, Richard directed a number of highly successful profitability improvement engagements for distressed companies in the transportation, consumer goods, retail, and manufacturing industries. Earlier in his career, Richard was a consultant at Andersen Consulting. A former U.S. Marine Corps officer who served with the 1st Marine Division, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, Richard earned his M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and his B.S. in languages and linguistics from Georgetown University. He was a member of the Georgetown University Division I Lacrosse team. Richard enjoys competing in endurance events, and has raced in many open water swimming, Ironman, and marathon events. He lives in North Carolina with his wife and three children. He serves on the Board of Trustees at the Duke School and on the Board of Directors for the Tewaaraton Foundation a nonprofit organization tasked with fulfilling the mission of the Tewaaraton Award.
