ony Aquila is an inventor with 100+ patents, a serial entrepreneur, a proven Permanent Capital Investor and dealmaker with 70+ transactions with $15bn+ cumulated value. Most recently, as a PE-lead Co-Investor, Tony has been appointed as Global Chairman of the Sportradar Group Board and Chairman for the Aircraft Performance Group Board. Prior, Tony founded MaxMeyer (sold to PPG in 1997) and Ensera (sold to Mitchell in 2001) before founding Solera Holdings Inc. in 2005, and leading it as Chairman and CEO to a $1bn IPO in 2007 and a $6.5bn public-to-private in 2016 while establishing Solera as a global technology company for the automotive, mobility, financial and cybersecurity industries in 90+ countries. Tony holds several international board, Joint Venture and advisory mandates as a global expert in mobility, with focus on automotive, fleet and aviation, as well as the digital identity and industrial blockchain space having been named EY’s National Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013 in the Technology category.
