Jim is the Portfolio Manager of the Aetos Capital Trade Claims Fund LP, our fund dedicated to investing in trade claims. Prior to Aetos, Jim was a managing director on the distressed debt trading desk at Royal Bank of Scotland. He also founded and ran the distressed debt groups at SAC Capital and Stark Investments. Jim has been senior analyst in the distressed debt trading department at Salomon Smith Barney. He spent six years as an analyst and portfolio manager at UBS O’Connor’s distressed debt trading group. Jim has experience as a senior financial advisor at Zolfo Cooper, a bankruptcy advisory firm, and spent four years on the commodity and foreign equity trading desks at Drexel Burnham Lambert. He has a BBA from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.
