Brian assists in the sourcing and due diligence of new investment opportunities and also works closely with our partner companies. Brian has a diverse background spanning financial, operational, and technical roles. Prior to joining Aeterna, Brian served as VP of Strategy and an Officer of General Fusion, a world leader in the pursuit of carbon-free energy. In his operational roles, Brian helped to build crucial business partnerships while engaging closely with private capital markets. Prior to General Fusion Brian was an associate with Houlihan Lokey as a member of their Private Growth Equity Capital team and also a member of their Corporate Finance Investment Banking team. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Brian founded two businesses focused on power supply technologies for LED lighting. Brian is a graduate of Lehigh University with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Finance. As part of the Martindale Center for the Study of Private Enterprise, he also published research on the European sovereign debt crisis. Brian resides in New York, NY.
