Bio

Sandra is a Principal and Head of Human Resources for AEA. In her role, she is responsible for talent development and human resources activities across the AEA platform. She also provides leadership to the firm’s support staff, oversees several administrative and operational functions, and is involved in some key initiatives including the firm’s philanthropic efforts. Before joining AEA, Sandra spent ten years at Montgomery & Co., LLC, a boutique investment bank, where she served as head of administration and Chief Compliance Officer. While at Montgomery, she managed a team responsible for human resources, compliance, information technology, and administrative support. Prior to Montgomery, Sandra led the human resources and administrative functions for two venture-backed startups. Sandra started her career in global recruiting operations at Monitor Group. Sandra attended The George Washington University, where she earned a B.A. in international affairs. Sandra is an active member of the Private Equity Human Resources Network, a group she previously co-chaired, and is a certified Hogan Assessor.
