Bio

Ben is a Partner on AEA’s Small Business Private Equity team. In his role, he focuses on investment opportunities in the industrials, services and consumer sectors. Ben serves on the boards of Connexus Resource Group, CLS Management Services, Inovar and WorldWide Electric, and previously sat on the board of Allied Power Group. He also served on the board of former AEA portfolio company Entregado Group. Prior to joining AEA, Ben worked in the investment banking group at Macquarie Capital in New York, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and financings for industrial and service companies. Benjamin earned a B.S.B.A. in finance with honors from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Benjamin has been an active mentor and supporter of numerous educational and athletic programs including co-founding the University of Denver’s Investment Banking & Capital Markets Club, which was formed to educate, develop and ultimately place students in careers on Wall Street. Benjamin is also a supporter of Pencils of Promise, a non-profit organization that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world.
