Bio

Rupert has been involved in private equity since 1987. He has been a member of the Advent team for all of this time, apart from 1996-98, when he was an Investment Director with National Australia Investment Capital, a subsidiary of NAB. Rupert has experience in the full range of private equity investment activities in Australia, including fund raising and portfolio development as well as the management and sale of investments. Prior to joining Advent, Rupert had 11 years of general management experience in the UK and Australia, with considerable emphasis on rationalising and reorganising manufacturing businesses in the textile and clothing industry. Rupert holds a Bachelor of Technology degree and a Masters of Business Management from Bradford University along with a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Manchester University
