Sharad Saxena joined Advent in 2022. Prior to Advent, he was the CEO, Used Car business for Car Dekho – one of India’s leading automotive portal and a unicorn startup. Before that, Sharad worked with OYO Rooms, a global online budget hotel player, where he led different businesses including the India hotels franchisee business as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). He began his career with McKinsey & Company where he spent 5 years, serving global clients on numerous strategy, operational improvements and revenue acceleration projects across sectors, with a focus on pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and financial services. Sharad holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
