Bio

Ryan joined Advent in 2023 with over 25 years of Operations, Strategy and Consulting experience. He works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis. Prior to joining Advent, Ryan was Chief Business Officer at BrightInsight, a VC and private equity backed regulated healthcare software company, where he led finance, talent, strategy & operations, legal, privacy and supply chain. Prior to BrightInsight, he was part of the Value Creation team at Vista Equity Partners, helping design and implement value creation plans across portfolio companies. Previously, Ryan has held roles as Chief Business Officer at Main Street renewal, founder of two start-ups, a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group and Operations/eBusiness at Black & Decker. Ryan holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, a MS in Engineering Management from Northwestern University, and a BE in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
