Joined Advantage Partners in July 2007. Responsible for investments including Community One, Interac, United Cinemas, Plastic Center Group, and EKO Grp Industries Holdings, Pharmaforte (Malaysia) / Pharmaforte Singapore. Supported various manufacturing and service sector portfolio companies in developing growth strategies, acquiring new customers, improving management efficiencies, conducting add-on acquisitions, facilitating post-acquisition integration, driving organizational changes, and enhancing the management control systems. For United Cinemas, realized profitability turnaround and add-on acquisitions, which significantly improved the strategic positioning of the company in the matured cinema complex industry. For Advantage Partner’s Asia fund, responsible for investments in the Southeast Asian countries and established the operation and local presence from scratch. Prior to joining Advantage Partners, engaged in asset management and financing at Lone Star Group, corporate financing at UBS Securities, and various consulting projects to develop and execute business strategies, marketing strategies, and operational improvements at Gemini Consulting. B.A. in Economics from Keio University, MBA from Darden school of Business and M.A. in EastAsian studies(China) from the Graduate school of Arts sciences, University of Virginia.
