Bio

Derek focuses on cybersecurity technologies. He specializes in identity management, network security, data access governance, web and email security, and MDM. He actively contributes to decision making on new technologies, managing security incidents, and developing road maps tied to firmwide initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, Derek worked as a Technician with AmericanEagle.com and American Roller Company, responsible for supporting a range of technology needs in an environment with more than 300 end-users, as well as external clients. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Triton College, where he taught Basic and Advanced Hardware/Software classes. Derek is an Okta Certified Professional.
