Jan has always been drawn to entrepreneurial challenges – on both local and global scale. Whether it’s a hotel chain in Delhi, an engineering plant in Halle/Saale or a publishing house in Eastern Europe and Asia, Jan is always enthusiastic and relentless in driving growth. His global network is based on close and long-established relationships and powered by his genuine interest in people and new ideas. Acton benefits from the way Jan is able to build and foster links with investors and supporters across countries. Prior to Acton, Jan was part of McKinsey & Company and Burda. He holds a master’s degree and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. Apart from investing in sustainable growth, Jan’s true passion is the circular economy and his non-profit Soil Alliance, committed to raising global awareness for regenerative agriculture.
