Jorge Dickens is a Managing Partner at ACON Investments. Prior to joining ACON in 2008, Mr. Dickens was a Vice President at Darby Overseas Investments, an international private equity firm and affiliate of Franklin Templeton Investments. In that capacity, he was responsible for investing and managing private investment funds in Latin America. Previously, he was an Investment Banking Associate with Banco Santander, where he advised clients in corporate finance and cross-border M&A assignments. Mr. Dickens serves on the Board of Directors of the following ACON fund portfolio companies: Corporacion Actinver, Grupo GMI, Citla Energy and Grupo Vizion (Waldo’s). Mr. Dickens previously served on the board of Betterware de Mexico, Hidrotenencias and InverCap, each prior ACON fund portfolio companies. Outside of ACON, Mr. Dickens served two terms as member of the board of AMEXCAP, the Mexican Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds. Mr. Dickens received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidad Anahuac and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
