Bio

Tim leads on strategic communications and brand development for Acacia and across the portfolio, and oversees Acacia’s senior leadership recruitment process. He works closely with Acacia colleagues and portfolio company leadership to develop brand marketing, communications and employee engagement strategies both pre and post-acquisition, and supports the Acacia partners on operational oversight. Prior to Acacia, Tim worked with Acacia colleagues at Global Strategies Group, a US-focused buyout firm, where he led corporate communications on the firm’s M&A strategy, including a NASDAQ IPO. A brand, communications and public affairs specialist with over 25 years’ experience, Tim has worked across public and private sectors, including senior roles with Serco plc and the International Committee of the Red Cross, and public policy and sustainability consultancy with multinationals like Unilever and Shell. Tim graduated with a BA in history and politics from Hull University, and has an MSc in Public Policy from the London School of Economics.
