Bio

Dede is Acacia’s lead technologist. He supports Acacia portfolio companies on product development, and leads our technical diligence on new investment opportunities. He was formerly CEO of Applied Insight, Acacia’s cloud-centric product and services business supporting the U.S. federal government, where he led the development of Altitude, the award-winning cloud management technology. Prior to joining Acacia, Dede was CEO of Stratus Solutions and co-founder of cloudtamer.io, both specialist cloud technology businesses. He worked as a senior cloud architect and technical lead on a number of U.S. government programs, and spent 13 years as a technical leader and program manager with Booz Allen Hamilton. Dede graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
