Dave is Acacia’s lead on business integration and works with our lead technologist on technical diligence. He works with Acacia portfolio companies to design and support post acquisition integration initiatives, using his senior operational leadership experience. Dave was formerly COO of Applied Insight (AI), Acacia’s cloud-centric product and services business supporting the U.S. federal government. Dave joined AI on its acquisition of Stratus Solutions where he was also COO and co-founder, and a co-founder of Kion, a speciality cloud technology business. He served as Technical Director of Professional Services at OPNET Technologies, supporting a large number of U.S. DoD and Intelligence Community programs as a software development, network modelling, and communications systems expert. He graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and completed an M.S. in Technical Management from Johns Hopkins.
