Craig leads on strategic lender relationships and collaborates with senior colleagues on deal origination and capital raising. He plays a leading role in the operational oversight of portfolio companies for Acacia, with a particular focus on financial performance. With over 15 years in corporate finance, he advises senior leaders on transforming the quality of financial operations and delivering continuous margin improvement. Craig works closely with portfolio company leaders to sustain their ability to attract and retain high quality talent through competitive incentive strategies, and plays a leading role in the integration of new acquisitions. Prior to Acacia, Craig worked with Acacia colleagues at Global Strategies Group, a US-focused buyout firm, as CFO, leading the financial aspects of the firm’s M&A strategy, including two NASDAQ IPOs. Prior to that he worked with Deloitte LLP in the U.S., U.K. and South Africa. A qualified chartered accountant, Craig graduated with a Commerce degree from the University of Port Elizabeth.
