Paul Rhines co-founded AAVIN and has over 45 years of experience in private equity investing and fund management. He was a founding general partner of Allsop Venture Partners, a private equity firm that generated top quartile performance for its institutional investors in each of its three funds. He is co-founder, Managing Member and Executive Vice President of Marshall Capital Fund, L.P., a small Midwestern private equity fund formed in 1997. Prior to Allsop, Mr. Rhines spent 10 years as an officer and investment professional with MorAmerica Capital Corporation, a Midwestern private equity company operating one of the largest Debenture SBIC’s in the nation at that time. He presently has board responsibilities with GreatAmerica Financial Services, Stamats Communications Company, and Schebler Company. He received a BA in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, and has been an officer and director of the NASBIC.
