Bio

Scott Sidell joined 777 Partners in 2017 as Head of Renewable Energy and Project Finance. Before joining 777, Dr. Sidell founded and served as the CEO of First Sustainable. Previously, Dr. Sidell was a proprietary debt arbitrage trader at Chase Manhattan Bank, Chemical Bank, Societe Generale, Greenwich Capital Markets (now RBS) and Millennium Partners. Dr. Sidell received his Ph.D. and M.A. from Cornell University, and BA from Boston College, and was a visiting scholar in the Department of Economics at Harvard University where he conducted his Ph.D. thesis. He is the author of two books and three articles appearing in leading academic journals.
