Ben joined 3i in 2017 as a Partner in the North American Infrastructure team. Prior to joining 3i, Ben was an Investment Director at Hastings Funds Management where he was responsible for the origination, execution and management of infrastructure equity investments. He was a member of Hastings’ Investment Committee and Asset Review Committee. Ben is on the board of Smarte Carte. Earlier in his career, Ben was an Associate in the Global Commodities Group at Lehman Brothers focusing on structured commodity transactions involving power, natural gas, coal, renewables and emissions for independent power and regulated utility clients. Previously, he was an Analyst in Lehman's Global Power Group focusing on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and corporate advisory to power and utility companies in the United States. Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Colgate University.
