Bio

Alec joined 3i in 2015, based in 3i's North American Private Equity team. He focuses primarily on software and business & technology services with a focus on new investments in supply chain software, ERP, digital commerce, and infrastructure software. He also spends time in eCommerce and consumer. Alec has been involved in 3i’s platform investments in WilsonHCG, MPM, Magnitude Software, insightsoftware, arrivia (formerly International Cruises & Excursions), Audley Travel, and Dynatect. He has also been involved in the SOR Technology, iCruise/WMPH and Thodacon GMBH transactions. He is currently a Board Director for arrivia and WilsonHCG. Prior to 3i, Alec was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company where he worked in the private equity group and for corporate clients in the business services, consumer products and telecommunications sectors. His work included commercial due-diligence, growth strategy, post-merger integration, performance improvement and supply-chain restructuring. Alec graduated as a Robertson Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, where he earned a BS in Business Administration and BA in Economics.
