Bio

Christian Hoenig is an internationally recognised specialist in corporate/M&A, private equity and venture capital and insolvency and restructuring with particular expertise in tax. He has extensive experience with major transactions in the energy, steel, railway, automotive, tobacco, banking, real estate, telecommunications and IT industries. Christian also advises start-ups and venture capital funds in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical products sectors. During the financial crisis, Christian gained extensive experience in restructurings, the acquisition of distressed assets and other insolvency-related matters. Prior to joining the firm, Christian worked with other renowned law firms in Vienna and his experience is reflected in a number of publications. Besides his legal work Christian is a co-founder of life sciences start-ups as well as an angel investor for more than 15 years.
