Tor Bechmann works primarily with M&A and corporate law matters, and is a highly experienced advisor in national and cross-boarder transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, co-investments and joint ventures. Tor also regularly advises on complex commercial contract negotiations and handling of shareholder conflicts. Tor also has many years of experience from board positions within various industries. He regularly lectures on company law, and is a frequent speaker to other lawyers and legal professionals at the annual conferences National Corporate Law and Transaction Conference and "Advokatenes Fagdager". Bechmann is a member of the academic committee at the Centre for Continuing Legal Education Committee for Corporate Law (JUS). He was for many years also a member of the Norwegian Bar Association's Committee for Corporate Law. Tor is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association and the Finance Society Norway.
