Bio

Adv. Ora Dvir joined Weksler Bregman in 1989, as a senior partner in the Banking and Capital Market Department. Ora began her career at the Bank of Israel, as a deputy to the Bank’s Chief Legal Adviser, and served, inter alia, as the Legal Adviser of the Foreign Currency Supervision Department, Supervision of Banks, and the Monetary Department. Ora leads the Banking and Financing Department at our firm, and is one of the most senior experts in the Israeli economy in the realm of banking and finance, capital market and securities law, with unique expertise in international commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and issuance of securities to the public. During the course of the years Ora has acquired extensive experience and reputation in the accompaniment of high profile business transactions. She provides services to banks, as well as financial institutions and bodies, including in the areas of Corporate Administration, as well as bank licensing, acquisition and sales of core control of banks, banking regulation and representation of clients before regulatory bodies, among them, the Bank of Israel, Supervisor of Banks and the Supervisor of Insurance. As part of her extensive experience, Ora has accompanied the sale and acquisition of leading banks and corporations in Israel, representing, inter alia, a group of sellers in the sale of the holdings group that was one of the leaders in this country, as well as the acquisition of control of one of the major banks in Israel.
