Bio

Mr. Yankovich joined Weksler Bregman in 1993, and became a partner in 2000. Mr. Yankovich is a highly experienced corporate and commercial partner specializing in the fields of capital markets and securities law, domestic and international commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, banking & finance, and public offerings on local and global markets. Mr. Yankovich acts as the legal counsel to multiple leading corporations (both local and international), including listed companies, private equity and venture capital companies, and provides them with comprehensive advice concerning all the legal aspects of their business. Among his clients, are Africa Israel Group, one of Israel`s largest and most dynamic real estate group; and Rapac Group, worldwide leading manufacturer and supplier of electronics. In addition to above, Mr. Yankovich has an extensive experience related to Israeli companies traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) and the Stock Exchange in London (AIM). As part of this practice, Mr. Yankovich provides thorough legal advice in respect of capital raising, initial and secondary offerings of securities, and other derivative legal matters. Among others, Mr. Yankovich handled the issuance of the shelf prospectus of Africa Israel Group, in the framework of which series of bonds were listed and issued in the aggregate amount of several billions NIS. This constituted one of the Israel`s largest capital raise in recent years; Mr. Yankovich represented Orpak Systems LTD, an international leader in the field of automated refueling, in the listing of its shares on the AIM Stock Exchange in London. Additionally, Mr. Yankovich advises on complex transactions on all banking and finance related matters, including bank regulatory matters, bank lending (including acquisition finance and property finance), investment transactions, and other related banking and finance matters. Mr. Yankovich was a teaching assistant at the Tel Aviv University in the course of Administrative Law from 1993-1995, and lectured in several education programs in the field of Public Tender Law.
