April Baynes specialises in both contentious and non-contentious international construction law and is based in Trowers & Hamlins ' London office. April has over 8 years' experience in the projects and construction sector and regularly advises major international construction and project companies. During this time she has represented a diverse range of clients, including employers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors in arbitration, adjudication and other forms of litigation in respect of disputes concerning defective design and workmanship claims, variation and delay claims, loss and expense claims, and unlawful termination. Consequently, April has extensive experience of advising and representing clients in resolving complex disputes in ad-hoc arbitrations, but also under a wide range of arbitral institutions including ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and DIAC. April's practice also covers non-contentious construction and project law, and she has prepared and advised on numerous construction documentation including PPPs, IWPPs, IPPs, EPC, Concession Agreements, O&M Agreements, and other commercial and ancillary agreements.
