Yaniv Aronowich co-heads the firm’s Cross-Border and Domestic M&A practice group. Yaniv leads complex domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, representing buyers, sellers and targets. In recent years Yaniv has represented large multinationals and private equity players in their M&A and investment activities in Israel. In addition, Yaniv represent many startups and technology companies at all stages, including on general corporate counseling, licensing and compliance matters, and commercial deals. Yaniv’s work covers a wide range of industries, spanning from hi-tech and biomed to traditional industries and services. Yaniv has a special interest and involvement in the field of transportation, representing local and international players in such industry. Yaniv is very much involved in smart transportation initiatives, and spearhead the firm’s efforts in this area. Yaniv has written several articles on regulation in the field of the sharing economy and smart transportation, and often times speak at conferences and panels on these topics. Earlier in his legal career, Yaniv practiced corporate and commercial litigation at the boutique litigation firm of Dr. J Weinroth & Co., where he also articled. Before embarking on this legal career, Yaniv served as a parliamentary aide to members of Israel’s parliament (the Knesset) and worked as an emissary for the Jewish Agency in the UK. Yaniv is fluent (mother-tongue level) in both English and Hebrew, and speaks French at basic conversational level.
