Bio

Vittorio Torazzi joined Pavesio e Associati as a partner on 1 January 2015. Prior to this, Vittorio was a senior associate at Allen & Overy up until 2003 and then moved to R&P Legal and was made partner and in 2012 established the firm VTCS. Vittorio Torazzi has significant experience in employment law and provides legal advice in litigation and non-contentious cases concerning individual and collective issues, social security, and international and EU matters. More specifically he assists Italian and foreign clients on employment law matters concerning individual contracts (namely with top managers) and company policies (including codes of conduct and stock options plans), restructuring processes (including collective redundancies and temporary lay-offs), mergers and acquisitions as well as outsourcing processes, also within the context of insolvency procedures. Vittorio also manages employment and social security due diligence exercises for the drafting and negotiation of acquisition contracts; he addresses international secondment issues also taking into account immigration laws of the host country. Vittorio Torazzi gained his J.D degree in 1990 from the University of Turin. He completed his pre-admission trainee period at Brosio, Casati e Associati. He also gained the Certificate Academy of American and International Law, Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas (US). He has lectured on a number of employment law matters and published several specialist essays. He is a member of A.G.I. (Italian Employment Lawyers Association) and of EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association). In April 2014 he was admitted to practice before the Corte di Cassazione (the Italian Supreme Court). He is a member of the Turin Bar.
