Colin Bole is head of our UK equity capital markets team and has over 20 years of experience in a wide range of UK corporate finance transactions, acting for both corporates and investment banks. Colin also leads the Public Markets Group within our UK Corporate practice which focuses on transactions by or involving listed corporates. As a recognised ECM and FCA sponsor transactions specialist, Colin acts for both issuers and underwriters/sponsors on equity offerings, listings and transactions on the London markets. He also has significant experience in UK mergers & acquisitions, in particular acting for listed corporates on private M&A transactions and financial advisers and sponsors on public M&A transactions. Colin is also closely involved with UK regulatory developments and provides regular training to clients on the FCA’s sponsor regime, the UK Listing Rules, the EU Prospectus Regulation and the EU Market Abuse Regulation. An advocate of coaching and mentoring, Colin is also passionate about developing the firm’s talent and helping colleagues become the best version of themselves, both in and out of work. Colin joined us in 2010 from the UK ECM team at a magic circle firm and has spent time on secondment to the EMEA ECM and M&A legal team at a leading global investment bank. He was admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland in September 2000 and is registered as a foreign lawyer with the SRA.
