Alexander Temel regularly represents clients in transactions in the software, financial services, business and consumer services, oil and gas, real estate, healthcare and media industries. Alex has a transactional practice focusing on advising private equity clients in connection with leveraged recapitalizations, management buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, structured preferred and growth equity investments and search fund transactions. He serves as primary general counsel to a number of privately held companies and represents entrepreneurs and management teams in connection with rollover transactions and new ventures. Alex is a recent recipient of the Burton Award for Legal Achievement. Chambers USA has recognized him as a leading lawyer for private equity buyouts every year since 2007. Sources in the 2017 edition described him as a “great negotiator” who is “extremely commercial” and “very technically proficient.” Alex has also been recognized by The Legal 500 in 2007 and 2008, by Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2005 to 2007 and by Massachusetts Super Lawyer in 2009 and 2010.
