William McDiarmid is a Partner and a key member of our firm’s Life Sciences and Emerging Growth Companies Practice, as well as our Corporate, Business and Tax Practices. Bill has extensive experience representing small- and medium-sized companies on matters ranging from the initial organizational documentation through multiple private financings, sale, or merger. Bill McDiarmid is particularly helpful to clients in negotiating and drafting documents in connection with a wide range of business relationships, including intellectual property transfers and licenses, partnership agreements, executive employment and employee stock options. Bill advises firm clients from numerous industries on issues involving trademark clearance, registration, and protection. Bill is the author of several articles on start-up businesses and employment law, and a regular contributor to employment law publications.
