Charles trained with Lovells, where a secondment to 3i during the dotcom boom fuelled an interest in early stage technology and high growth start-up companies. He moved to Osborne Clarke, where he advised a number of private equity investors on buy-outs and investments, as well as handling the sales and purchases of many private companies
