Diarmaid Gavin is a partner in the firm's Corporate and Commercial Department advising a range of clients in different industry sectors on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters. On the transactional side, Diarmaid has acted for a number of clients in the agri-food, life sciences, technology and media sectors on M&A transactions, corporate group restructurings, joint ventures and equity fundraisings. Particular areas of expertise include technology and outsourcing projects, intellectual property and R&D arrangements. Prior to joining Ronan Daly Jermyn, Diarmaid worked with a “magic circle” law firm in its London and Brussels offices where he advised on merger notifications before the European Commission and the UK Office of Fair Trading (now the Competition and Markets Authority) as well as on cartel and abuse of dominance cases.
