Before joining the firm PRK as equity partner, Francois Veit was resident partner of the Gide Loyrette Nouel office in Prague between 2000 and 2010. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, real estate, and advised most of the CAC 40 companies in the region (banking, industrial, real estate, cosmetics, etc). François obtained a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School, a master’s degree in criminal law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon Assas, a master’s degree in musicology (Sorbonne Paris IV) and a degree in philosophy (Sorbonne Paris I). Francois is a member of the Paris Bar since 1990 and of the Czech Bar since 2000. He was also for few years vice-president of the "Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France" (foreign trade advisors), as well as vice-president of the French Chamber of Commerce in Prague. He sits on the board of Directors of the Harvard Club in Prague. He is co-author of the book "Media Law and Intellectual Property Law in the Czech Republic".
