David is a partner in the corporate team. He qualified in 2001 and joined Penningtons Manches in 2011 from a leading regional law firm. David specialises in advising on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, MBOs/MBIs, reorganisations and insolvency-based transactions, as well as corporate joint ventures and shareholder disputes. Acting for private and public limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and entrepreneurs, David has particular expertise in the technology and private wealth sectors. He is a member of the firm’s restructuring and insolvency team. A significant proportion of his work has an international element and he regularly advises non-UK based corporates. David is recognised and highly ranked by Chambers UK and The Legal 500 where he is described as having 'a rare mix of the technical and commercial which is vital to any M&A deal'.
