Mike is a member of the Firm’s litigation group, working with clients to resolve disputes from the time they arise through trial and appeal if necessary. Mike has particular education and experience in the area of federal and state tax litigation and planning. He represents clients in audits, disputing proposed additions to tax, disputing penalty assessments, innocent spouse relief, offers in compromise, installment plans, and other tax collection disputes. He also assists clients with family law matters, particularly those involving difficult and complex asset, business or tax issues. His work in that area includes advice and representation to individuals contemplating marriage or engaged in domestic disputes, including divorce, modification of support or child-custody orders, enforcement actions, and adoptions. Mike’s practice areas also include complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, insurance litigation, and banking litigation.
